A PDF file can be viewed, shared and printed on any platform provided that users have Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader installed on their computer.PDF has evolved into a viable file format for prepress work. With Adobe® Postscript® 3 workflows directly supporting PDF for output and the compatibility PDF provides allows PDF to be accepted and used in the printing and prepress industry. CorelDRAW® and Corel PHOTO-PAINT® provide the option to publish any document directly to PDF by choosing Publish to PDF from the File menu.Follow the directions below to convert native Corel files into the .PDF format. We have found this technique to be extremely reliable. Please, copy settings below exactly. Incorrect settings may result in unprintable files.
Select Publish to PDF... from the File menu.
Select Settings... from the Save As PDF dialogue.
Set the options for the General tab as below.
Set the options for the Objects tab as below.
Set the options for the Document tab as below.
Set the options for the Prepress tab as below.
Set the options for the Advanced tab as below.
Check for file problems here. If all is good click OK.
