File Creation Guide
Adobe Photoshop
Any version converted to the .TIF or
.JPG Maximum Quality format

Set Color Mode to CMYK
HOTGLOSS.com recommends working in CMYK Mode to avoid unexpected color shifts.
Do Not Submit native Photoshop files. Flatten the file and save as .EPS, .TIF or .JPG Maximum Quality. Files submitted as pure pixel files that are the correct document size and saved as .EPS, .TIF or .JPG, will be processed immediately. Because pure pixel files require little or no preflight, qualifying files will be placed in the print queue immediately. Of course, Rush and ASAP orders have priority. However, if you are ordering Standard service the turnaround time will be dramatically reduced if you submit a pure pixel file. Qualifying .TIF files are generally printed within 48 hours of receipt.
If you will be placing or importing the image into another application please save as .EPS or .TIF.
Recommended Resolution
nonegpress.com recommends 400 dpi for pixel images. Do not submit low resolution images.
Duotone Images
Please convert any Duotone images to CMYK. Duotone images will not print correctly.
Saving a Clipping Path
When masking an image in Photoshop, do not create a clipping path from a Magic Wand selection. This will create a very unattractive jagged mask path. Instead, use the Pen Tool to create a vector clipping-path. Note: Files with a saved clipping path should be saved as .EPS.
Saving Files for a Layout Application
If the file will be Placed or Linked in a Vector Art or Page Layout program, save it in EPS format. Grayscale images may be saved as TIF files if you plan to colorize them in a Page Layout program.
Fonts
Fonts will be converted to pixels when you flatten and save an image as .EPS, .TIF or .JPG. Once again, please do not send native Photoshop.
