Printing from Microsoft Publisher box icon
When Inserting a Picture From File (right) into Publisher you may use the .JPG or .TIF file format.

Please, DO NOT Insert .GIF format files into Publisher. Files in the .GIF format will not print.

Convert .GIF files into .JPG or .TIF before Placing them into Publisher.

You can prepare your files for transfer to HOTGLOSS Printing by selecting the Pack and Go menu in the File menu.

Very Important :
Before you use Pack and Go perform Steps 1 to Step 6 below. 		Printing from Microsoft Publisher, Picture menu
Step 1:
Select the menu item

Step 2:

Print all colors as:

Step 3:
Using the Tools menu go to Commercial Printing Tools, Sub-menu Fonts...Set the check box options as in the example of the Fonts window to the right. Embed TrueType fonts when saving publication must be selected.

Check and verify that all fonts are set to embed. This step is Critically Important. Any font not embedded will be substituted with another font selected at random by Publisher. Even if the font is substituted with a similar font having the same name the substituted font may be sufficiently different to spoil the design.

HOTGLOSS Printing will not know if a different font with the same name is substituted, so check embedding carefully.

In the example on the right, the font PosterBodoni BT will not embed. Another font should be selected to replace PosterBodoni BT and the Pack and Go > Take to a Commercial Printing Service should be retried.		 Printing from Microsoft Publisher, fonts menu critically important
Step 4:
Select Pack and Go > Take to a Commercial Printing Service and follow the step by step instructions; this will produce one file archive with all the elements needed to process a job.

Set the check box options as in the example of the Pack and Go window to the right.

Step 6:
If the Take to a Commercial Printing Service generates the error: one or more fonts could not be embedded, the job will not print as expected. Please do not submit a Publisher file containing a font that did not embed.
To correct a font embedding problem reopen the file and select a different font. Then try the Pack and Go > Take to a Commercial Printing Service again.
